was born out of my love for books and my desire to wear some of my favorite covers as jewelry. Each item is painstakingly handbound following the same techniques utilized for their larger counterparts. Each earring features a handbound miniature book that has been thoughtfully rescued from otherwise unusable books. The pages of these tiny books hold the essence of forgotten stories, ready to be rediscovered. Whether you're wearing them yourself or gifting them to a fellow book lover, these earrings are a heartfelt and meaningful way to celebrate literature and art.

For The Library Of

Since I was a kid, I've been utterly enchanted by books. I deeply resonate with the Japanese concept of tsundoku (積ん読) which is the phenomenon of acquiring reading materials but letting them pile up in one's home without reading them. Since "For the Library of" has outgrown my small apartment, I now have multiple large bookcases overstuffed with books in two locations. There's just something magical about diving into a story and getting lost in its pages. As I grew older, I found myself drawn not just to the stories themselves, but to the physical books - their textures, their covers, the way they feel in your hands.

That love for books eventually led me to combine it with my passion for art and craftsmanship. That's how "For The Library Of" was born. Each handbound tiny book you see here is a labor of love and each is meticulously crafted by hand using traditional bookbinding techniques.

But it's not just about making pretty jewelry. For me, it's about giving new life to books that might otherwise end up gathering dust on a shelf or worse...in a landfill. Every book has a story to tell, and by turning them into wearable treasures, I hope to celebrate the enduring power of storytelling. I strive to have a diverse book catalog that shines a spotlight on underrepresented and minority authors whose voices often go unheard in the mainstream.

So, as you browse through our collection, know that each piece carries a little piece of my heart. Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I hope you find a tiny book that speaks to your soul as much as it does to mine.
